The PROTAMINE project is mainly focusing on individuals with lower limb loss and more particularly on individuals with transfemoral amputation fitted with a socket or an osseointegrated fixation.
Individuals with amputation fitted bone-anchored prostheses
So far, most of the work conducted within the PROTAMINE project involved participants fitted with bone-anchored prosthesis using either screw-type implants or press-fit fixations.
External component of the osseointegrated fixation, namely abutment, used to attached the prosthesis.
