My 25-year professional history, particularly the last 10 years in executive roles, is unique as I alternated employments in academia and industry sectors in Australia, Canada and Europe. Altogether, these experiences have contributed to carve a singular professional profile integrating expertise in four key roles: researcher, leader, educator and entrepreneur. 


As an active researcher, my unique expertise incorporates the development of biomechanical tools for evidence-based practice, clinical biomechanics analyses of individuals with limb loss and performance analyses of athletes with a disability. 

I am currently considered as one of the very few independent experts in the clinical outcomes of bone-anchorage prostheses using osseointegrated implant. 

My academic track record includes over 170 publications, multiple grants and the supervisions of several domestic and international postgraduate students. I am a regular reviewer for several national and international funding bodies as well as top-ranked scientific journals such Nature.


As a project leader, I have developed high level interpersonal skills as well as written and oral communication skills. I am leading several large scale research projects involving, altogether, 270 collaborators from 100 organizations in 20 countries. 


My commitments to curriculum design, course and unit coordination, lecturing and supervision of university students has been consistent for the last 25 years, particularly on all topics related to Biomechanics and Research Methods.


I am currently the Director and Chief Scientist Officer of my consulting company, named YourResearchProject Pty Ltd helping professionals in academia, healthcare and industry to produce high quality research by providing hands-on advice and practical tools to plan, collect, analyse, publish and promote research outputs.
I work with various organizations worldwide focusing on a wide range and health-related issues such as: design of orthopedic implants, online medical education, teaching innovative procedural skills, implementation of new allied health role, hospital service innovation and health economics of orthopedic procedures.
